That's right boys and girls, a 500 year old tradition of making beer from grains, hops, and water without any additional stuff has been killed by a court ruling. After 10 years the courts in Germany ruled that a brew with sugar added to it, may be called “Beer”.
I haven't been around for the last 500 years, but I do know that I've like German beers the way they are. Just hope that sweet girly German beers aren't all the rage now!
