Perhaps the strangest beer promotions to date, Heineken Europe has launched the Heineken European Life Long Observatory
or H.E.L.L.O. The site consists of an interplanetary mission complete
with launch sequences, confusing geek speak and videos of futuristic
brewing methods.
Uh, OK. The site is actually pretty cool as far as Flash-y beer web sites go.

A man in Houston has spent eighteen years drinking a six pack a day to
use the cans to decorate his house. Thanks to a grant, the house is
getting a make over.

I didn't realize aftertaste was such a big deal. If you're drinking quality beer, aftertaste can be a good thing. A nice lingering orange or vanilla flavor similiar to those found in wine can be had in beer.
For those who drink less discerning beers, there is a new movement afoot to rid the nasty aftertaste of your Bud or Miller. InBev will be distributing Brahma, a Brazilian beer that will please your pallet with crisp finish with a hint of papaya. Chris will get to taste this one as it will be available in LA, San Diego, Miami, Tampa, and Orlando on June 1st.
