Based on BridgePort Brewing Company's press release, Supris is “big, beautiful and blonde, Supris clearly pays homage to the Belgian style, but with a distinctly American interpretation.” Sounds tasty. Since I'm about as far from Oregon as you can get and still be in the States, it may be a while before I can get this. If any of you Portlanders get a chance, check it out and let me know how it is.

Since I'm having a hard time finding time (and for some reason Bloglines thinks I speak Spanish), I'm going to defer to my fellow beer bloggers and let them entertain you:
On Tap talks about Poor Richard's Ale and a site that sells cool Trappist and German ale glasses.
A Good Beer Blog tells us about a crisis in Lithuania involving beer, Christ, and headphones.
The Brew Site gives us the scoop on BeerMapping.com's beer feed aggregator.

I just ran across this contest on Worth1000 and it has some great entries. The contest is described thusly:
In this contest you will swap beer for everyday objects or vice versa. Any kind or any form of beer product, from liquid to bottle, a keg or a can, anything beer-related is fair game. Think of a giant beer bottle blasting off for the moon, or bottle cap jewelry.

Poppasan (maybe his/her real name) sent us an email asking if we had seen thebar.com. We hadn't so I checked it out. Pretty cool, even if a bit on the “uses Flash where HTML would have worked fine” side. Here's a shot of a recipe for the Guiness Shandy. I'd give you a link to it, but it is Flash…
