I've been following the Brew Site's periodic posting of 50 beers to drink before you die and I was very happy to see a summary of all 50 posted. Go check it out and make a list so you can get this done before you are. Me, I've had a little over half and due to #12 have a perfect frame of reference for the worst beer ever.

Word on the street is that St. Pauli will be giving away their new poster again this year starting on February 1.  So, if the following is something you'd like to see poster size, check their site then.

I have no idea what is wrong with her right breast (well, other than surgical enhancement) or why they decided to photoshop her and the beer into the background with a cheesy blur. Maybe the real poster will look better.

These are all good rules to keep in mind to prevent you from looking like a jackass at the bar/party or being a crappy friend. Some of my favorites:

29. If you owe someone twenty dollars or less, you may pay them back in beer.

31. If you have been roommates with someone more than six months, you may drink all their beer, even if it's hidden, as long as you leave them one.

34. If you bring Old Milwaukee to a party, you must drink at least two cans before you start drinking the imported beer in the fridge.

35. Learn to appreciate hangovers. If it was all good times every jackass would be doing it.

Yep, that's the word on the street:

Two craft brewers affiliated with Anheuser-Busch might merge, according to disclosures in filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Widmer Brothers Brewing Company and Redhook Ale Brewery “may commence preliminary discussions concerning a merger or other combination between the company and Widmer,” the filing said.
