The always funny Basic Instructions comic had one recently about beer tasting titled “How to Be Patient”. Here’s the first couple panels–click through for the full comic.

According to WLBZ news:

35-year-old Brian Poulin of Hebron was arrested Sunday after police said he called 911 several times and asked them to bring him beer.

Poulin was charged with disorderly conduct.

Police said he called 911 numerous times and told the dispatcher he was out of beer and asked them to pick up more for him.

Kids, don’t try this at home. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that he had probably ingested more than beer that day.

Saw the Bud Light Clamato in a tall boy and couldn’t resist. The Dogfish Head is to try to make up for it.

UPDATE: This is the worst beer in the world. It tastes like a clam took a beer shit in my mouth. I don’t think I’ll ever be the same again.

Here is what it looked like seconds after pouring. Notice the lack of head–not that it would have helped. I didn’t know what type of glass you put something like this in, so I went with one appropriate for a bloody mary.

BELGRADE, Serbia (Reuters) — A 23-year old Serb was found dead and half-eaten in the bear cage of Belgrade Zoo at the weekend during the annual beer festival.

The man was found naked, with his clothes lying intact inside the cage. Two adult bears, Masha and Misha, had dragged the body to their feeding corner and reacted angrily when keepers tried to recover it.

In Serbia, the zookeepers must be no-nonsense types that cut to the chase:

“There’s a good chance he was drunk or drugged. Only an idiot would jump into the bear cage,” zoo director Vuk Bojovic told Reuters.
